This Notice is posted pursuant to the Texas Open Meetings Act. (VERNONS TEXAS CODES) on or before 2:30 PM on the day of Friday, August 6, 2010, in the City Hall at 409 Main Street, Martindale, Texas 78655.  An Open Meeting will be held concerning the following subjects:

1.  Consideration, discussion, and/or direction to staff related to the City of Martindale FY 2011 General Fund and Wastewater Fund budgets. 

The City of Martindale encourages compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in the conduct of all public meetings.  To that end, persons with disabilities who plan to attend this meeting and who may need auxiliary aids such as an interpreter for a person who is hearing impaired are requested to contact the Martindale Mayor’s Office at (512) 357-2639 as soon as the meeting is posted (72 hours before the meeting) or as soon as practical so that appropriate arrangements can be made.  While it would be helpful to receive as much advance notice as possible, the City of Martindale will make every reasonable effort to accommodate any valid request regardless of when it is received.  Braille is not available.

The City Council reserves the right to adjourn into Executive Session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss and matters listed on the agenda, as authorized by the Texas Government Code, including , but not limited to Section “555.071, (Consultation with Attorney), 551.072 (Deliberation about Real Property), 551.076 (Deliberation about Gifts and donations), 555.074 (Personnel Matters), 551.076 (Deliberations about Security Devices), 555.087 (Economic Development), 418.175-183 (Deliberations about Homeland Security Issues) and as authorized by the Texas Tax Code, including, but not limited to, Section 321.3022 (Sales Tax Information).
